The HPS 17000 represents a significant leap forward in technology, designed to meet the evolving needs of modern industries. With its advanced features and robust design, it is poised to become an indispensable tool for engineers and researchers alike who want to complete the most comprehensive validation on their products. Our partnership with NI has enabled us to integrate cutting-edge hardware with our innovative software solutions, creating a comprehensive system that delivers exceptional performance and reliability.

The HPS 17000: Unique Capabilities

The HPS 17000 is designed with test flexibility and productivity in mind. At its core, it builds on NI’s platforms equipped with a real-time Linux operating system and Time Sensitive Networking capabilities. This provides access to the vast ecosystem of both LabVIEW and Linux for capturing and processing data, as well as providing fast access control over the network. Key capabilities include:

  • Future-proof design: Operation up to 1500V, easy setup and reconfiguration due to time-synced operation over the network, and robust operation ensured by a modular hardware design.
  • Dynamic performance: SiC-based power conversion, enabling test and measurement profiles with resolution down to 10 microseconds.
  • High current and voltage: 480A and 1500V bi-directional power supply capabilities within a 150kW power envelope.
  • Parallel cycler operation: Supports parallel cycler operation without physical proximity, providing flexibility to lab layout standards up to 900kW.
  • High maintainability: Modular design with swappable power bricks.
  • Microsecond synchronization: Time-sensitive networking enables parallel operation of cyclers regardless of location in the lab.
  • Pack-level electro impedance spectroscopy (EIS): High fidelity bandwidth control on digital amplification.
